Les élèves de LLCER ont visité le Musee du Quai Branly, et suivre une visite guidée de l’exposition Bollywood Superstars et un atelier d’initiation à la danse Bollywood.

Suite à cette visite, les élèves ont rédigé le texte ci-dessous :

We went to Paris to see an exhibition on Bollywood which is the Indian cinema. We discovered the Indian culture which is very varied. There are many things to discover such as traditional dances, religions, and the Ayurveda medecine.

We saw the different types of dances and lots of traditionnal dresses with their history.
We also learned that the gestures in the dances have meaning and that reminded me of the Hawaiian dances even if these are totally different. So we have so much to leant from each country. As I already knew a little about Indian culture, I was familiar with a lot of Indian films , which are known for "their dramatic aspect". One of the best known Indian movies of our generation is Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham . It is one of the best known films especially for its dances and famous music in the world.
